Ralph Wallace
Commander and Advocate
Commander Ralph Wallace leads American Legion Post 295 for the 2026–2027 term, bringing deep veteran advocacy expertise to Elgin, Texas. Serving as a dedicated commander, he drives the post's mission of veterans supporting veterans through disability claim assistance, civic programs, and fellowship. Established in 1921 by returning World War I servicemen, Post 295 operates continuously under a federal charter, tax-exempt non-profit status, and Texas Veterans Commission alignment to champion local military families.
